Town centre living - more homes at the heart of great places
Encouraging more people to live in town centres is a key policy aspiration for Scottish Government, local authorities and key partners and late last year, following the release of its Town Centre Action Plan Review, Scottish Government asked us to look at the barriers and constraints to town centre living and to identify some good practice case studies.
That work has culminated in this report, ‘Town Centre Living – more homes at the heart of great places’ which is out today.
If you have any comments to make about what the report recommends or wish to have a conversation with our Housing Team to discuss next steps, then please contact the report’s author Mhairi Donaghy.
