Place forms part of the fabric of daily life. It is where we live. It is a window onto systems that affect how we live. It is a mechanism of managing change. The recent HM Green Book changes focus on place as a framework for investment, both in terms of where to invest, and how investment tackles the issues and opportunity of a place holistically.
